What Kind of Friend Are You? – (S2, Ep 16)

Friendships as any relationships that we enter into must be built on positive foundations and mutual respect.  Then add a dash of boundaries and a huge heaping of communication.  Now practice being a friend. Repeat.

Minister Shawn Lawrimore provides a moment of encouragement, prayer and reminder that we serve a God that is capable of extending blessings upon our whole hearts. When we submit to the Lord, we gain a power, strength and healing. In the presence of the Lord, we are reminded that we are in fact, God’s choice. Our submission unto Him asks us to reject the things of this world and destroy those things that does not bring Him glory.  So, even now, turn to the Lord, find home in the security of the ultimate provider.

Always remember, in God, we have everything we need. God promises to provide all of the things we need and more. And by His example, be a light in someone else’s life. Continue to do the work you have been called to do.  Repent, pray and love one another. It’s time to stop, connect and know the Body of Christ. Be still, come to the presence of God and find your peace in what is promised.

Bitterness is an unwillingness to forgive when wronged, hurt, or mistreated. If bitterness is not removed it becomes an emotional cancer that eats at the soul. During the process of self identity we must go after the root and going after the root requires time and patience. During this investigation you will learn that your scars do not define who you are but they prove you are; victorious, overcomer, and strong.

The negative experiences adversely affects you and others that are in our lives.

So going after your scars will require you to go back to the beginning. You may have to trace your trauma back to the womb. Transparency and honesty is key. You must be honest with yourself and God is total healing will take place. You will never know you are as a wife, mother or friend if you keep wearing a mask.

Even Now – (S2, Ep 14)

“Even now, declares the Lord, ‘return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning.’ Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity.”

Joel 2:12-13

Freedom From Worry – (S2, Ep 13)

“So do not worry, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, What shall we wear? For the pagans run after these things and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek ye first His Kingdom, and His righteousness; and all things will be given to you as well.”

Matthew 6:30-33

Minister Shawn Lawrimore provides a moment of encouragement, prayer and reminder that we serve a God that is in control. Is the chaos of COVID-19 deterring or strengthening your connection to God? This is the time to turn your heart to God. Now, in the face of sudden death, job loss, health concerns, failures of local, state and federal government, it is time to turn to God for relief from worry and a reminder to remain faithful.

‘Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?’ Can anyone of you by worrying, allowing the mind to dwell on difficulties add an additional hour to your life? Will worry add value to your existence? Not at all. God reminds us that the birds of the air do not reap or sow, however they are provided for and if you are more valuable than the birds, put your trust in the Kingdom of the Lord. God will provide, as he is a healer, deliverer, protector.

Always remember, in God, we have everything we need. God promises to provide all of the things we need and more. And by His example, be a light in someone else’s life. Continue to do the work you have been called to do.  Repent, pray and love one another. It’s time to stop, connect and know the Body of Christ.
